Upcoming booking reminders
Cut no-shows with a friendly nudge before the appointment. Barkway sends reminder emails based on your settings.
When does the reminder send?
Barkway schedules reminders based on:
- The booking start time.
- Your Reminder lead time (hours) setting.
If the calculated send time is in the past, Barkway sends the reminder immediately.
What happens if I edit the booking?
Barkway updates the reminder time instead of creating duplicates.
What happens if I cancel a booking?
Any pending reminder for that booking is removed.
How do I turn it on?
- Open Settings → Communication.
- Set Enable automated communication to Enabled or Email only.
- Turn on Enable booking reminders and set your lead time.
SMS reminders
SMS reminders are not live yet and are not a priority right now. We plan to add them later as a paid add-on.
