Upcoming booking reminders

Cut no-shows with a friendly nudge before the appointment. Barkway sends reminder emails based on your settings.

When does the reminder send?​

Barkway schedules reminders based on:

  • The booking start time.
  • Your Reminder lead time (hours) setting.

If the calculated send time is in the past, Barkway sends the reminder immediately.

What happens if I edit the booking?​

Barkway updates the reminder time instead of creating duplicates.

What happens if I cancel a booking?​

Any pending reminder for that booking is removed.

How do I turn it on?​

  1. Go to Manage → Settings → Notifications.
  2. Set Sending options to Enabled.
  3. Turn Booking reminders on and set your lead time.

SMS reminders​

SMS reminders are not live yet and are not a priority right now. We plan to add them later as a paid add-on.
